Pas Neos – New Album promo

My 2-man band Pas Neos is finishing up our first full length album. If you like my keys playing you might want to check out our EP on Itunes – http://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/pas-neos/id325933458

If you like the EP or you like what you hear on the promo, tell your friends! A repost on facebook will also suffice :). Since we are full time at IHOP we do not have any time to tour, and our names are not attached to anything. Our only chance of making the money back we spend on our albums is for people to tell people!

  1. Hi Caleb. I’m Bill Whittaker. My dad and his wife Betty (Bob and Betty Whittaker) sent me to check out your site last night. I have been playing drums for 31 years, mainly metal and have shared the stage with Disciple, Filter, Pro-Pain, Overkill and many others. I have just recently gotten into the electronic stuff after studying a little about Thomas Haake from Meshuggah. My wife bought me Superior Drummer for Christmas and Logic Express 9 a few weeks later. What is extremely cool about it is that I can now write fills and strange grooves that I wouldn’t normally play if I were doing it in the band room with 4 other guys hashing out the first thing that comes naturally. My talents are being stretched to a new level. Anyway, I am currently going to Bible school online through Summit Bible College, I am the president of Victory Promotion, I play drums on the worship team at my Church and I am trying to put together a touring Worship band. I do tend to gravitate toward heavier stuff though so I’m not sure where God is leading me. I’m currently working on beating the record for world’s fastest drummer with my hands and feet. Another way to glorify God. Mike Mangini last I knew was at 1247 bpm single strokes with the hands. Tim Waterson had 1057 bpm single stroke with the feet. I am steady at 800 bpm for both hands and feet and I can do short blasts up over 1000. I am more concerned about being consistent and steady than playing record speeds but I will get there. God bless you!!! I hope you have great success in all that you do for Jesus.

  2. Hey Caleb, if you haven’t already, look up Tom Jackson. He coaches worship teams and other bands. I read your blog about Ephesians 5:18,19. Very cool. I sent that to a friend of mine. I know though that if I hadn’t studied other musicians I wouldn’t have risen to the level I’m at now in my ability nor would I have ever discovered using computers for writing when I did. We do need to study to stay sharp musically but we can also allow the Holy Spirit to dwell in us and create. He has more to work with if we develop our talents. He has given me many ideas that I couldn’t put on a cd in the past because my abilities to do so fell short. I use many tools now that came from people who studied the works of other people. There is a balance between the natural and the spiritual. Both are needed to be effective. I like your blog. Keep up the good work. You’re doing awesome.

Hey Caleb, i watched you many times on God tv at the IHOP student awakening meetings and loved your way of playing! I’ve also seen the video ”Love” from your 2-man band Pas Neos and loved it as well! What does ”Pas Neos” mean? Just wondering!
